BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rain and snow are possible for later Friday evening with snow overnight and into early Saturday with some lake snow east of Lake Erie and for the hills, an inch or less of snow. Mainly dry the rest of Saturday, high 36.
For Sunday and the Bills game, a dry start to the day then there is a chance of scattered snow and rain showers mainly mid to later afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 30s. More rain mixing in potentially near the warmer Lake Erie shoreline.
Possible scattered snow showers are in the forecast for the ball drop on New Year's Eve for Sunday night, low 30. A coating for many spots, 1" or less for the hills.
Monday, New Year's Day, possible morning snow showers, then dry with clouds, high 34.
