BUFFALO, N.Y. — Our remaining band of lake effect snow is starting to fade away. The snow showers will continue to weaken across Western New York.

A Winter Weather Advisory expired for Erie County at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. An additional inch is possible through the rest of the day.

Wednesday will start to feel wildly different across our area.We will have a series of warm fronts headed through Western New York, which will start to boost temperatures. By Wednesday, temperatures will already start to warm up into the mid to upper 30s.

As we look ahead to the weekend, we are expecting more rain to stream into Western New York and that could lead to quicker melting but also the potential for some minor flooding.

Stay with Storm Team 2 and check back for updates throughout the week.
