Heat Advisory expires across WNY

The "Feels Like" temperature will likely climb into the 90s Thursday.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Shortly after 8 a.m., the National Weather Service's Buffalo office issued a Heat Advisory for Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming and Chautauqua Counties. Temperatures climbing into the mid 80s, coupled with dew points in the 70s, will create a heat index in the mid to upper 90s today. The advisory for the listed counties is in effect from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. 

The advisory has expired.
