BUFFALO, N.Y. — The National Weather Service in Buffalo issued a Flash Flood Warning early Sunday afternoon.
The Flash Flood Warning issued for portions of Niagara County has been canceled as future showers and storms do not pose a threat to flooding anymore. A line of training thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall over northern Niagara County this afternoon, possibly leading to rain accumulations of two to four inches.
Still, drivers are advised to be aware of rising water and not to drive through water-covered roads. Those who live within a flood plain or areas that flood easily should also monitor the area for rising water Sunday.
