Flash Flood Warning for parts of Niagara County was canceled

A Flash Flood Warning until 12:45 p.m. was canceled.

NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — The National Weather Service issued a Flash  Flood Warning for western Niagara County until 12:45 PM and it was canceled.

Heavy thunderstorms developed at around 7:30 a.m. this morning and since then 1 to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Another inch to 2 inches was possible across western Niagara County with Flash flooding potentially.

Flash flooding of small, creeks and streams and streets and underpasses, can cause issues with travel.

Some areas that may experience flash flooding include Niagara Falls, Lewiston, Youngstown, Sanborn, Wilson, and Cambria.
