BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Western New York Coalition for the Homeless has issued a Code Blue for Saturday night.
Anyone in need of an overnight shelter can visit the former women's shelter located at 586 Genesee Street in Buffalo. It will be open from 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18 until 7:00 a.m. Sunday, November 19.
The daytime warming shelter will be open at the same location on Sunday.
People will be allowed to get their bus tickets to the Code Blue Shelter at the NFTA Metro Transportation Center downtown between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Waiting outside of the transportation center outside of those times is not allowed.
