BUFFALO, N.Y. —

A Winter Weather Advisory for Southern Erie, Wyoming, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties has been allowed to expire

Lake snows are coming to an end but there will still be some blowing snow issues through the early afternoon. Snow totals from overnight:

Warsaw 12"

Silver Springs 7.5"

Holland   6.8"

Jamestown  6.0"

All Wind Advisories have been allowed to expire.

Gusty winds overnight and this morning will subside this afternoon. However with cold temperatures today the breeze will keep wind chills today in the 20s.

Another strong cold front will stir up more winds to start the weekend. Saturday will feature wind gusts once again approaching 50 mph. Temperatures to start the day will be in the 50s with rain showers. Those numbers will then be falling into the 30s by the late afternoon. Calmer conditions will return by Sunday.
