CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — The next time you're at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, you might want to take advantage of a new space designed to give travelers some peace of mind.
2 On Your Side got a sneak peak at the new the reflection room at the airport. It's designed to provide travelers a quiet place for reflection, mediation, or prayer. It features comfortable seating, calming decorations, and resources for a variety of spiritual practices.
U.S. Rep. Tim Kennedy talked about the reflection room on Wednesday.
"A sense of a spiritual presence, and a sense of calm and love, that is part and parcel of who we are as a community here in Western New York," Kennedy said. "So whether you're traveling into Buffalo or out of Buffalo, you'll capture a sense of the love that our community really is built on."
The reflection room is located right across the hall from the Freedom Lounge for military families and members.
