BUFFALO, N.Y. — As the holidays are upon us many people may be traveling both near and far in the upcoming week as we approach Christmas. Because of this AAA has complied tips for when is, and isn't the best time to be traveling.
Experts on holiday travel project that 115.2 million travelers will go 50 miles or more from their home during the final weeks of 2023 surrounding both Christmas and New Years Eve.
2019 was recorded as the busiest year that AAA saw travelers during this time but 2023 is expected to surpass 2019's figures which include both air travel, and cruising.
Those people who are hitting the road will want to avoid these days and times according to AAA because they are going to be the most congested

They also say that the best time to drive is early in the morning, before 10:00 a.m. or after 7:00 p.m. at night.
