Route 219 southbound reopens after car fire

The West Seneca Police say Route 219 southbound is now reopened following a car fire.

WEST SENECA, N.Y. — The West Seneca Police Department say Route 219 southbound near the I-90 split is reopen after it was closed due to a car fire.

Everyone was able to get out of the vehicle safely police said.

Update: roadway is clear/open RT 219 Southbound is CLOSED at the 90 split for a vehicle fire near Berg Rd. All occupants out safely. Please use an alternate route.
