DEPEW, N.Y. — If you travel the I-90 near the Depew-Lockport exit (Exit 49), you will want to take a new route Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
On Monday, June 10, at 10 p.m. through Tuesday, June 11, at 3 a.m., the on-ramps to I-90 will be closed to traffic so crews can work on repairing guardrails and routine maintenance to the bridge. Additionally, the westbound exit ramp from the Thruway will be closed during this time.
The New York State Thruway Authority says that while the closures are in place, motorists will be allowed to travel between Transit Road and the Tandem and Park and Ride lots. Longer Combination Vehicles (LCV) and Tandem vehicles are encouraged to use Exit 48 (Batavia) tandem lots for LCV/Tandem operations.
