BUFFALO, N.Y. — NITTEC updated travelers that the tractor trailer fire has been cleared as of 12:55 p.m.
Traffic Tracker 2 Dave Cash shared on social media this morning that a tractor trailer on the I-90 West had caught on fire closing the right lane.
Commuters traveling near the Dunkirk/Fredonia exit were able to continue West on the thruway or exit at the offramp. Traffic at the time had been reported to be backed up about a mile behind the truck.
There has been no news on the drivers status, but an update will be provided when it becomes available.
