BUFFALO, N.Y. — It looks like Buffalo's school zone speed cameras are going to be coming down in a matter of months
Monday night was the deadline for the Mayor Byron Brown to sign or veto the Common Council resolution. Councilmembers tell us that the mayor did neither of those things
That means the resolution will take effect, and the cameras will have to come down by the end of August.
The resolution will also bring some other changes by September including: new speed measures in school zones like speed bumps and radar sign, and the school zone speed limit will also be going up slightly to 20 miles per hour.
