BUFFALO, N.Y. — A tractor-trailer crash on I-190 in Buffalo caused a multi-hour road closure on Labor Day.
Around 8 a.m. Monday, a tractor-trailer overturned on I-190 just beyond Exit 3 near Seneca Street.
Driver Satpal Gill, 49, of Ontario failed to slow down in the wet road conditions and lost control of his tractor-trailer, according to New York State Police. The tractor-trailer exited the road, hit a concrete barrier, and overturned. This blocked all southbound lanes.
The truck was carrying plywood, which spilled into the roadway.
State Police report there were no injuries.
Gill was issued a traffic violation.
