BUFFALO, N.Y. — Overnight closures for a portion of the Kensington Expressway have been suspended until further notice.
The closures have been scheduled to take place on the outbound Route 33 between Best Street and the 198. This was supposed to take place for bridge repairs on the Dodge Street overpass following an accident in March.
The closure was delayed and finally began at the beginning of the month.
Traffic continues to be one-lane on Dodge Street.
When closures resume, drivers traveling eastbound should follow the detour signs using the Best Street off-ramp.
The DOT also reminds drivers that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
