NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation have announced the next phase that will be happening regarding the scoping process for removal of the Niagara Scenic Parkway.
Removal will be between Findlay Drive in the City of Niagara Falls and Center Street in the Village of Lewiston.
Scoping and the design process is expected to wrap up by August of 2025. The process will consider a new broad alternative for creating a sensitively configured transportation network along the Niagara Gorge.
On Tuesday, Feb. 6 there will be a public meeting where people can check out project displays and a presentation at 6:30 p.m.
