BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo drivers need to be aware of a road closure that is scheduled to start on Monday.
Swan Street from Seymour Street to Jefferson Avenue will be closed for about three weeks, according to the City of Buffalo.
The road will be closed while the Department of Public Works, Parks and Streets installs new sidewalks on both sides of the street as well as enhances landscaping features.
The landscaping work will include clearing overgrown bush and the addition of new topsoil and seed.
A detour will take drivers to Hamburg Street, Seneca Street and the back to Swan Street. Pedestrians will also need to follow the detour since the work is focusing on replacing the sidewalks.
As always, drivers are asked to exercise caution while driving through construction zones.
