WELLSVILLE, N.Y. — New York State Police and several ambulances responded to a bus crash in Allegany County on Monday morning.
A crash between a Wellsville Central School District bus and a single vehicle happened on State Route 19 in Wellsville, according to Troopers.
Investigators say the driver of the vehicle is in serious condition.
There were 18 students on the bus at the time of the accident. State Police say they either had no injuries or suffered minor injuries. According to the district, the driver of the bus and students were taken to Jones Memorial Hospital to be evaluated.

This morning, there was an accident involving a Wellsville Central School District bus that was transporting secondary students to the Secondary School. The bus number was 156, and it was on route 7. Families are currently being notified by phone calls from the principal.
The safety of our students is our main priority. As a precaution, the driver of the bus and students are being transported to Jones Memorial Hospital to be further evaluated.
