BOSTON, New York — The NYSDOT and NYSP teamed up, to conduct an 'Operation Hard Hat' which was deployed to catch drivers speeding in a work zone on the 219 in Boston, NY.
In a post made to the NYSDOT Facebook page they wrote:
"We recently teamed up with the New York State Police for an Operation Hard Hat on Route 219 in Boston, NY. Unfortunately, we issued over 30 tickets, including one driver caught speeding at 78 mph in our work zone."
