BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Michigan Avenue Lift Bridge that is located over the Buffalo River will be closing on weekdays.
Starting on Monday, Nov. 6, the bridge will be closed for two weeks while a construction project is worked on, the city announced Friday.
The construction projected started earlier this year and is expected be finished by the end of the two-week closing.
Pedestrians and drivers are not allowed on the Michigan Avenue Bridge during this time, only on the weekdays.
The weekday closure schedule will be as posted by the Seal of the City of Buffalo:
Monday, Nov. 6 from 9 a.m. until Friday, Nov. 10 at 3 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 13 from 9 a.m. until Friday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m.
The bridge will be open on the weekends during construction.
