AMHERST, N.Y. — Police in the Town of Amherst had asked people to avoid the area of Main Street and the I-290 due to low-hanging power lines.
Those utility wires have since been repaired.
The low hanging utility wires have been addressed in the area of Main Street and I290. All traffic lanes have been opened, and there are no traffic restrictions in the area," police said Sunday night.
