AMHERST, N.Y. — Hopkins Road, near the intersection of Millersport Highway, will be closed from Monday, Aug. 19 until approximately Friday, Aug. 23.
This road in Amherst will close around a fourth of a mile due to realigning the intersection. It will start around 7 a.m. Monday, and most likely end on Friday, weather permitting.
There will be a marked detour for drivers.
The New York State Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsively in work zones.
