In a press release from AAA they say that "Gas prices are down across the region this week. The overseas war zone is quiet while Atlantic storms are also holding off, which is taking pressure off of oil prices. This morning, oil prices are below $80 per barrel. That’s giving drivers some relief at the pump. According to the latest data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), gas demand edged higher slightly. But overall mild gasoline demand, steady supply, and low oil costs may cause pump prices to slide further. Demand will likely increase this week as travelers head out for the final long holiday weekend of summer."
"When it comes to EV charging, the national and state averages for L2 commercial electricity remain steady. The national average for a kilowatt of electricity at an L2 commercial charging station is 34 cents. An estimated 1.2 million AAA members live in households with one or more electric vehicles." AAA notes.
According to AAA "For drivers who use diesel fuel, the national average price for diesel is $3.70, down three cents from last Monday. The New York average is $4.15, down two cents from last Monday."
