Concerns over Hurricane Debby are over now that the storm has passed. However, tensions in the Middle East and some overseas economic uncertainty may impact oil prices. This morning, oil prices remain low – between $77 and $80 per barrel. The latest data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that gas demand is down slightly while production is up. Lower gasoline demand, rising supply, and stable oil costs may lead to sliding pump prices. When it comes to EV charging, the national and state averages for L2 commercial electricity remain the same as a week ago. Today’s national average for a kilowatt of electricity at an L2 commercial charging station is 34 cents. An estimated 1.2 million AAA members live in households with one or more electric vehicles."
They also noted that "For drivers who use diesel fuel, the national average price for diesel is $3.75, down four cents from last Monday. The New York average is $4.18, down two cents from last Monday."
