BUFFALO, N.Y. — I-190 South was closed for a time at Exit 9, near the Peace Bridge, following a crash that happened Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. Crews on the scene, tending to people involved in the crash, which happened at 2:23 p.m., according to NITTEC.
Shortly before 3 p.m., traffic was flowing once again in the left lane. Emergency personnel remained on the scene in the right lane and along the shoulder to the road.
Video from NITTEC cameras shows first responders cutting away the roof of the vehicle in order to extract the driver.
