BUFFALO, N.Y. — Former UB quarterback Tyree Jackson heard his name called in the 9th round of the XFL draft on Tuesday.
He was selected by the DC defenders who also happen to have former Bills quarterback Cardale Jones on the roster.
Jackson left UB a year early and was not selected in the NFL draft. He signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent, spent the offseason and preseason with Buffalo before being released.
DC also drafted former UB center James O'Hagan, and defensive end Chuck Harris.
The XFL begins play in February.
