DEPEW, N.Y. —
If you’re not headed to Houston to catch this weekend’s playoff game, there’s plenty of places here in Western New York to watch and get a bite.
One restaurant in particular, Santora’s Pizza Pub and Grill in Williamsville, has been taking calls since the Bills faced off against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
"We’ve been completely booked solid for, probably all through the week," Paul Santora told 2 On Your Side's Karys Belger.
All season Santora hosted crowds of fans, and he says more keep coming as the Bills keep winning. Santora said his restaurant has already gotten advanced orders.
"We probably have between 40 and 50 between the two locations. And then obviously that will grow as we go," he said.
He also says he thinks more people will come into watch the game rather than order out and he’s ready for the crowd.
"A lot of beer a lot of food a lot of wings, a lot of pizza. It’s just a celebration," he said.
Which means he’ll need a lot of space. And Paul’s got a plan for that too.
When fans walk-in on Saturday, standing tables are all they’re going to see. To make room for all of the people who may come at the last minute, Santora is taking all of the pool tables out of the dining room to give people more space to watch the game.
Santora suggests coming in early to secure a place to sit. He plans on having a full staff ready. At the end of the day, he says he says the Bills going to the playoff is good for the team and the fans.
