Sabres lose to Ottawa, 3-1

OTTAWA, ON —  Jean-Gabriel Pageau scored two goals, leading the Ottawa Senators to a 3-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres.

 Brady Tkachuk had a goal and two assists. Craig Anderson, making his first start since suffering a knee injury Dec. 7, stopped 43 shots.

 Zemgus Girgensons scored for the Sabres. It was the sixth goal of the season for Girgensons. Linus Ullmark made 27 saves for the Sabres. 

The Sabres are off until Friday night when they host the Boston Bruins. Face off is scheduled for 7-pm at the Key Bank Center.
