BUFFALO, N.Y. — Officers from the Erie County SPCA were called into action to rescue eight domestic ducks that found their way into Cazenovia Creek.

Two officers used kayaks to steer the ducks to shore, where two other officers were waiting.

The ducks were scooped up by nets and put into carriers. They were taken to the SPCA barn.

SPCA officials aren't sure exactly where the ducks originated from, but believe the ducks may have been dumped there.

An SPCA volunteer captured video of the rescue.
