PARIS, France — The athletes to watch at the Paris Olympics on Sunday include two athletes with ties to Western New York.
Jessica Pegula's opening singles match is against Sweden's Viktorija Golubic. There is no official start time scheduled. Pegula is scheduled to play in the third match of the day on Court Suzanne-Lenglen at Roland-Garros Stadium. The first match on that court begins at 6 a.m. EST.
Pegula kicked off her Olympic games on Saturday in women's doubles with partner Coco Gauff.

Former Western New York Flash star Lynn Williams and the Team USA women's soccer team continue their quest for gold on Sunday as well.
The women won their opening match, 3-0, on Thursday against Zambia.
