BUFFALO, N.Y. — New Era announced a multi-year product agreement to produce apparel and headwear alongside Team USA and the Paralympic team--just in time for the Paris 2024 Games. New Era will create exclusive sportswear for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games to take place from July 26-August 11- and the Paralympic Games- running from August 28 to September 8.
The sports brand additionally plans to create merchandise for the Milan 2026 Winter Games and Los Angeles 2028 Summer Games- the first summer Olympic and Paralympic Games to be held in the U.S. in over three decades. As soon as U.S. Olympians and Paralympians make their teams, they will receive exclusive New Era headwear products, including New Era caps with the phrase "Made It" embroidered underneath.
Berets, bucket hats, and trucker-style caps will be provided to athletes at the upcoming Team USA Welcome Experience to take place in Paris.
New Era's Director of Licensed Products, Todd Sokolowski, said in a release, "We are excited to be expanding our relationship with Team USA, reflecting not only New Era's legacy in the American sporting scene, but our brand's global influence on fashion and culture." The agreement is a first of its kind for Team USA, marking their first product deal with a brand focused on headwear.
