Buffalo scores top-20 finish for top Olympics TV markets

The TV viewership numbers are out, and they show that the Olympics were hit with viewers across Western New York.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The 2024 Paris Olympics were a hit for NBC, and with viewers in Western New York.

The TV viewership numbers are out, and according to fast national data from Nielsen and Adobe Analytics, Buffalo finished tied for 16th, with Baltimore, among all U.S. metered markets when it came to watching the Summer Games.

The data covers the entire Olympics, which started July 26 and drew to a close on Aug. 10.

Here are the top metered markets for NBC Stations for the Paris Olympics:
