BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Sabres defenseman Mattias Samuelsson is ready to return to action Thursday night, as the team hosts the Calgary Flames at the KeyBank Center.

Head coach Don Granato says the defenseman will be "good to go."

During this past Tuesday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the defenseman appeared to be in some discomfort while he was seen leaving the bench due to an upper-body injury. He would not return to that game.

Samuelsson has one assist, six hits, and seven blocked shots on the season so far.
