BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres announced on Friday they have re-signed defenseman Kale Clague to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.
Clague has recorded five points in 36 games with the Sabres and has 21 points in 94 total NHL games with three different teams.
He has also played 42 games with the Rochester Americans, where he totaled three goals and 20 assists during the 23-24 season.
The defenseman signed with the Sabres during free agency on July 13, 2022, and has been with the organization ever since.
Buffalo now has 19 defensemen signed within their system, according to the NHL records website.
