BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tonight, the Buffalo Sabres will be playing at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and looking for redemption.
The last time the Sabres played the Penguins was on the road and recorded a 4-0 loss against the Pens, but tonight are hoping for a chance to come out on top.
According to the Sabres' stats, the home team has won eight of the last 10 matchups between the Sabres and the Penguins. The Sabres hope to rebound after losing to the Washington Capitals 4-3 in overtime on Wednesday.
Overall, the Sabres are 6th in the Atlantic Division and currently have a record of 8-9-2 for the 2023-24 season.
Players Jack Quinn and Tage Thompson remain out, according to the teams injury report.
