BUFFALO, N.Y. — Young Sabres fans are getting the chance to learn about Buffalo in a new creative way.
The Buffalo Sabres will be releasing a graphic novel series called 'Sabres: Buffalo vs The Multiverse' to tell the stories of Buffalo along with the Sabres as a fun fantasy adventure.
Written by author Travis Carlson the series will put a fun twist on re-imagining the history of the Buffalo Sabres.
The series is apart of a partnership with Pan-American Film Division and hopes to encourage literacy among students in Western New York.
Buffalo Public School's will receive a donation of about 9,100 issues of the graphic novel series that will be donated to students in 7th through 10th grade at Buffalo Public Schools, 7th and 8th at Gaskill Prep School and all students attending Lasalle Prep School in Niagara Falls.
