BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres started Tuesday off on an adorable note.
In a post made to their social media pages they introduced fans to their new team puppy for the 2024-25 season.
The puppy named Audie, is a 10-week old Great Dane. She will train alongside WNY Heros to eventually become a service dog for a veteran in need. This will be the fourth year that the Sabres have partnered with WNY Heros.
Audie was named after the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium, which was home to the Sabres from 1970 - 1996.
Sabres fans will get to see Audie at select home games and events throughout the season.
