BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Sabres recently asked fans who they would like to see on the new mural in Alumni Plaza, and on Tuesday they shared a photo of the finished product.
In the new mural, fans can see 27 players featured, spanning from players in 1970 through the 2000s.
Along with the players, there is also a quote from famous play-by-play broadcaster Rick Jeanerette reading "Here come the Buffalo Sabres". The call that is still played today as the team takes the ice.
There will be a public in-person reveal for the new mural before the Sabres home opener game on October 10.
