BUFFALO, N.Y. — Saturday is the birthday of the Buffalo Sabres' mascot, Sabretooth.
In celebration of the furry blue and gold Buffalo icon, the team will be going all out in his honor.
The first 5,000 kids at the Sabres game will get a Sabretooth pillowcase. There will also be birthday-themed concession options, other local mascots in attendance, and more.
The puck drops at 1 p.m. against the St. Louis Blues, and tickets to the game can still be purchased by clicking here.
The Sabres are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night, in what was their first game following the NHL's All-Star Break last weekend.
