BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Sabres general manager Kevyn Adams deemed goaltender Eric Comrie week-to-week with a lower-body injury following Friday night's game against the New Jersey Devils.

Comrie made 16 saves for Buffalo before leaving the game in the second period of his third start so far this season.

Adams also gave an update on goaltender Devon Levi who is day-to-day also with a lower-body injury, stating that he hopes to have him back at practice on Tuesday to be ready for the game in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.

Therefore, without Comrie and Levi, the Sabres recalled Devin Cooley from the Rochester Americans on Saturday morning to back-up Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on Sunday afternoon.

"Nothing changes from what I've been doing for years," Cooley said. "You know, just be ready incase something happens and obviously you home something doesn't happen but I'll be ready in case something does."

The Sabres will be sporting their red and black goathead jerseys on the ice at the KeyBank Center when they host the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm.
