BUFFALO, N.Y. — There will be no individual goal songs for Buffalo Sabres players this season.
So unlike last season, you won't hear Abba, Twisted Sister, Foreigner, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, or music from "High School Musical" after the Sabres score a goal. The team made that clear with a social media post on Thursday morning.
"New goal song dropping this season," the Sabres said, without giving any further clues about what to expect when Buffalo does score a goal at KeyBank Center.
The Sabres lost two games last week in Prague against the New Jersey Devils and now they host the Los Angeles Kings in their home opener at 7 p.m. Thursday.
