Buffalo Sabres join the (snowball) fight with children at Roswell

Indoor "snowball" battle fun and a whole lot of smiles with the Buffalo Sabres.

BUFFALO, N.Y. β€” The Buffalo Sabres initiative of helping WNY children continues with their annual visit to Roswell.

Children of Roswell Park Comprehensive Center got a visit from the Buffao Sabres on Wednesday for a fun filled day.

Visitors along with players the Sabres included Coach Don Granato, GM Kevyn Adams and the wives or significant others of the team members as well.

The whole team spent the afternoon with the young patients, taking their minds away from the stress around the holiday time.

Sabres teammates signed autographs, took selfies, played games and had an indoor "snowball" fight with the kids. the event ended with a party for the families which was led by the Courage of Carly Fund.

"It was really nice for us to be able to go see some of the patients, give them some autographs, be able to talk to them for a couple minutes, hear their stories and give them some words that make sure that they know the Sabres are fighting with them,” Sabres right winger Alex Tuch said.
