ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Super Bowl LVIII is set. The Kansas City Chiefs will meet the San Francisco 49ers in two weeks, in Las Vegas.
The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Ravens in Baltimore 17-10 in the AFC championship game to reach the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes had never played a postseason road game, but in back-to-back weeks, he led the Chiefs to victories at Buffalo and Baltimore to continue his remarkable playoff success.
Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, watching from high above the field in a stadium suite.
In the NFC championship game, the San Francisco 49ers rallied from a 17-point deficit at halftime to stun the Detroit Lions 34-31. Detroit was attempting to reach its first Super Bowl.
The Chiefs beat the 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV four years ago.
