ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Bills quarterback Josh Allen ran for a touchdown Sunday. Obviously, that's nothing new.
Allen's 9-yard scamper for a score with 8 minutes, 34 seconds left until halftime helped give the Bills a 10-7 lead against the Eagles in Philadelphia.
Then Allen did it again with 1:140 left in the third quarter, slicing through defenders as the Bills pushed their lead against the reigning NFC champions to 24-14.
Allen entered the Week 12 game as the NFL's leader in total touchdowns with 29 — 22 through the air, and seven on the ground. The only quarterback with more rushing touchdowns this season was on the other sideline, the Eagles' Jalen Hurts, who began the day with 15 TD passes and nine more rushing.
Sunday's game marked the first meeting between Allen and Hurts.
Allen on Sunday tied Cam Newton atop the list of quarterbacks who have run for at least eight touchdowns in a seasons. They've both had four such seasons.
