BUFFALO, N.Y. — Bills third year cornerback Tre'Davious White has been selected to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.
The NFL announced their initial Pro Bowl selections Tuesday, with White selected to represent the Buffalo Bills this year.
At just 24, this is White's first Pro Bowl. He is tied for the most interceptions this season with six; with former Bills defensive back Stephon Gilmore.
Gilmore left the Bills as a free agent after the 2016 season. White was drafted in the first round of the 2017 draft.
White also ranks second among all NFL defenders in opponent passer rating. And he is the only Bills player selected as a starter for the game.
The Bills did get eight players selected as alternates:
- LB Tremaine Edmunds (first)
- Andre Roberts (first)
- Mitch Morse (second)
- Josh Allen (third)
- John Brown (fourth)
- Jerry Hughes (fourth)
- Frank Gore (fourth)
- Jordan Phillips (fourth)
The Pro Bowl will be played January 26, 2020 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando Florida. It will be televised by ESPN. Kickoff is scheduled for 3-pm.
