BUFFALO, N.Y. — The phone was ringing at Pendleton Teal Travel as Bills fans inquired about travel packages to see the team in the playoffs in January even though it's unknown who or where they'll be playing in the postseason. Right now, the Bills most likely first-round opponent would be Houston.

Owner and President Chuck Teal said fans should be ready to spend.  "If I had to guess right now, probably the $900 to $1,000 range, including airfare, hotel, game tickets. It may go up a little, it will be airfare dependent."

"Anybody planning on going down is probably gotta figure they've got to leave on Friday,  January 3 and come back on January 6 because you've got to account for the Saturday or Sunday games," he said.

As of Tuesday morning, tickets to a playoff game at NRG Stadium in Houston ranged from $172-$700.

Teal said some clients already booked flights on Southwest Airlines for a reason. "You book a Southwest flight and you have to change it or cancel or change destination, you don't lose out, you have that monetary credit that you can use for another city."
