ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for Week 17.
The honor comes after his dominant performance in Orchard Park on Sunday afternoon, as the Bills beat the New England Patriots 27-21.
Douglas had two interceptions, good for 50 interception yards. He also had three pass breakups, which led to another interception for DT Ed Oliver.
Douglas was recently acquired by the Bills at the trade deadline back at the end of October. Since joining the team, he has picked up four interceptions returning one for a touchdown, two fumble recoveries, and one sack, and has made 29 total tackles.
This marks Douglas' second Player of the Week award, as he earned the honor in back in 2022 during Green Bay's Week 12 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
