ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The NFLPA announced on Wednesday their report cards for each NFL team for the past season.
According to the NFLPA's webpage the purpose of the survey. which is based on the feedback from 1,706 players throughout the league, is to "highlight positive clubs identify areas that could use improvement, and highlight best practices and standards."
This year, the Buffalo Bills rank 11th overall out of 92 total teams. The ranking puts them just outside the top 10, and two spots away from last year's ranking at ninth place.
There were 11 categories on this year's report card, compared to eight last year.
Looking over these categories, Buffalo ranks in the top three of the NFL for weight room (A+) and strength coaches (A).
Their lowest-ranked categories were team travel (D) sitting at 25th overall and nutritionist/dietician (D-) which ranks 29th.
In the overview of the Bills report card the NFLPA said that in terms of team travel, "less than half of the players who responded feel like they have a comfortable amount of personal space when traveling, which is the lowest for any team in the NFL. The players expressed frustration in their responses that the biggest people (the players) must sit in the smallest seats, while the coaches and auxiliary staff get to sit in first class."
When it came to the topic of the team dietician, only 54 percent of the players felt as if they got an individualized plan from their dietician.
