Von Miller suspended until October 28th

Miller will miss four games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The NFL has suspended Bills linebacker Von Miller for four games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Tom Pelissero were the first to report the suspension.

2 On Your Side has not been able to independently confirm the reason for the suspension, but other outlets are reporting that the suspension stems from allegations made last November that Miller assaulted his then-pregnant girlfriend at their apartment in Dallas.

Last fall, 2 On Your Side obtained the 911 call and arrest-warrant affidavit, painting a picture of the allegations made against Miller.

According to the affidavit, it all started when Miller and his girlfriend got into a fight over travel plans.

The fight escalated to the point where the former Super Bowl MVP “placed pressure around her neck” multiple times… “pull[ed] out a chunk of her hair”… and “caus[ed] her to fall to the ground”… all while she yelled out “Stop I’m pregnant.”

Despite the evidence, Miller has since said those allegations are “100%” false and “overblown.” His girlfriend has also walked back the claims.

No charges were ever filed in the case, but the NFL has been conducting a separate investigation.

Miller's suspension will carry until Oct. 28 following the Bills’ Week 8 game against Seattle.

Miller also previously served a six-game suspension back in 2013 for performance-enhancing drugs.

2 On Your Side reached out to the NFL for further clarification on the reason for the suspension but has not heard back.
