Bills knocked out; conference championship games are all set

The Bills hosted the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth and final game of the weekend, losing 27-24.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — We are now officially through two rounds of the NFL playoffs, and the conference championship games are set.

The top seeds in each conference, the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC and San Francisco 49ers in the NFL, both won Saturday and woke up Sunday knowing they would host one more home game.

The Lions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-23 on Sunday as they advanced to the NFC championship game for only the second time in franchise history, and the first time in 32 years. They will visit San Francisco next week, with an opportunity to reach their first Super Bowl.
